Soriano’s Palette

The Rafael Soriano Foundation continues to research and document the work of Rafael Soriano and is accepting submissions of his works for inclusion in the Rafael Soriano Catalogue Raissoné. Owners of works believed to be by Soriano are invited to fill out our submissions form and provide a high resolution picture. The catalogue raisonné contains many paintings that were photographed by Soriano and stored as slides. They have now been digitized, however, with time, there has been some deterioration of color.  We are requesting high resolution pictures to catalogue in addition to the digitized slides of works already in the catalogue raisonné.

Please note, the Rafael Soriano Foundation does not provide valuations of artworks. Submitting a work for review does not guarantee that a work will be included in the Rafael Soriano Catalogue Raissoné; all decisions shall remain within our sole discretion. The decision to include a work does not constitute a warranty or guarantee authenticity or provenance. We reserve the right to reconsider or change our decisions. Neither the Rafael Soriano Foundation nor any person associated with it, including but not limited to the Foundation board members, the Rafael Soriano Catalogue Raisonné Advisory Panel, research team, and external consultants, guarantees the finality or correctness of opinions and decisions.

Please note that there is a $250 administration fee for works newly submitted that are not already included which must be paid in order for the official review process of the work to begin. This fee covers staff costs for researching the information and images you provide against the Foundation's archives, artwork database, and other records. Payments can be processed through PayPal on the website rafaelsorianofoundation.org or by sending a check along with the submission form to:
